Itinerary
Day 1:
Delhi to Manali (570 kms)
Arrive in Delhi and travel by surface to Manali.
40 kms away from Kullu to the north, Manali is situated near the end of the valley on the National Highway leading to Leh. The landscape here is breath taking. One sees well-defined snow capped peaks, the Beas river with its clear water meanders through the town. On the other side are deodar and pine trees, tiny fields and fruit orchards. It is an excellent place for a holiday. From temples to antiquity, to picturesque sight-seeing spots and adventure activities, Manali is a popular destination for all seasons and for all travellers.

Day 2:
Local sightseeing in Manali
After breakfast go for city tour visiting Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Tibetan Monastery and Vashisht Village.
Hadimba temple: Manali has many attractions but the chief center of interest, historically and archaeologically, is undoubtedly the DHOONGRI TEMPLE dedicated to goddess Hidimba, the Bhim of Mahabharat fame. It has four-tiered Pagoda shaped roof and the doorway is carved with legendary figures and symbols. This temple located amidst wooden forest of deodar is about 2.5 kms. from the tourist office. It is a pleasant experience to stroll in the temple complex which was built in 1533 A.D.
Tibetan monasteries: 3 newly constructed colorful monasteries, where visitors can buy carpets and other Tibetan handicrafts. Two are located in the town and one at Aleo on the left bank of Beas river.
Vashisht Village: Vashist, a small village located on the left bank of river Beas towards Rohtang pass is worth a visit. It is renowned for its hot springs and temples. Natural hot sulphur springs with two separate bathing tanks for gents and ladies are always full of tourists.
Rest of the day will be free for leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Manali.
Day 3:
Manali to Rohtang Pass to Manali (125 kms)
Full day excursion visiting Kothi Gorge, Marhi, Rohtang Pass and Solang Valley.
Kothi (12 kms on way to Rohtang) is a picturesque village and has a thrilling view of the deep gorge through which the Beas river swiftly flows.
16 kms. on way to Rohtang pass is the beautiful Rahala falls. If one goes to Marhi on foot from Kothi, the sight of the falls is fascinating. It is a good picnic spot as well.
On the highway to Keylong/Leh, Rohtang Pass offers a panorama and spectacular mountain view. The pass is open from June to October each year although trekkers can cross it earlier. There are beautiful sights of glaciers, peaks and the Chandra river (which flows down in the Lahaul valley). Slightly to the left are the twin peaks of the Geypan.
13 kms. between Solang village and Beas Kund is a splendid valley. Solang valley offers the view of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks. It has fine ski slopes too.

Day 4:
Manali to Manikaran (via Kullu) to Manali (150 kms)
After breakfast, drive to Manikaran 75 kms.
Manikaran is a pilgrimage centre for Hindus and Sikhs. It has many temples and a gurudwara. After sightseeing at Manikaran, drive to Kullu (45 kms/2 hours), the Kullu Valley is the largest valley in the Kullu district, in Himachal Pradesh, India. The Beas River runs through the middle of the valley. It is also called the "Valley of the gods".

Day 5:
Manali to Delhi (570 kms)
After breakfast check out and depart for Delhi with wonderful memories to cherish.
