Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Leh
Arrive at Leh airport. You are received by our representative and transferred to the Hotel. Take rest for the day for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs). In the late afternoon drive visit Leh Market, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa
Shanti Stupa is a tranquil structure that rests at an altitude of 4,267 meters (14,000 feet) on a hilltop in Changspa village, about 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) from Leh. The Shanti Stupa was built by the Nipponzan-Myohoji order of Japan, a religious community that has been engaged in the construction of peace pagodas and temples in various parts of the world.

Day 02: Leh to Lamayuru to Ule (160 kms)
After breakfast drive to Lamayuru, enroute visit Liker monastery and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib.
Lamayaru has some of the most spectacular gompas (Buddhist monasteries/heritages). It is not so much the gompas, but the location and construction that makes it special. It is perched above a drained lake, overlooked by massive mountains.
Check into the camp at Alchi or Ule and enjoy the lunch. After lunch drive to visit the mesmerising Moon landscapes and the Lamayuru monastery (Oldest Monastery in Ladakh)
Overnight stay at Camp or Hotel

Day 03: Alchi / Ule to Leh (70 kms)
After the Breakfast drive to Leh enroute visit Alchi monastery, Basgo Palace and Hall of Fame. Arrive at Leh by afternoon. After lunch the rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 04: Leh to Tso Moriri Lake (240 kms)
After Breakfast drive to Tsomoriri passing Chumathang (Hot Spring) along the Indus river
Tsomoriri Lake, set at 4572 M in the desolate landscape of Rupshu, is famous as the breeding ground of the rare bar-headed geese, and home to a number of other rare species of birds. The small village of KORZOK, with its hilltop monastery, is the only habitation in the area, which is otherwise inhabited by the nomadic Chang-pa tribe. Take a walk around the lake and enjoy the scenic beauty of it
Overnight stay at Camp in Tsomoriri

Day 05: Tso Moriri Lake to Leh (240 kms)
After breakfast enjoy a walk around the lake, and later drive to Leh.
Overnight stay at Hotel in Leh

Day 06: Leh to Khardung La to Leh (80 kms)
After leisurely breakfast, drive for Khardung La (80 kms round trip), one among highest motorable pass in the world (alt: 18,380 ft.) . Rest of the day is free to explore the markets for shopping etc. Overnight stay at Leh

Day 07: Depart to Delhi
Early morning transfer to the airport and fly back to Delhi with sweet memories of Ladakh.
