Thekkady is most famous for one India’s most famous wild life sanctuaries, Periyar wild life, which boasts the uniqueness of viewing the wild life at close quarters from the safety of a boat. The nearest town, Kumily is well connected by bus to Bangalore and Tamilnadu. Tigers, elephants, Nilgiri langur, wild boar, wild dog, bison etc could be seen if it is your day. A cruise in the waters of Periyar lake around the wildlife sanctuary is a great experience you will cherish for a long time.

Holidays to Munnar and Thekkady: 2nd Day
After breakfast, Full day Munnar Sightseeing. Visit Tea Garden, Nayamakkadu waterfalls, Eravikulam National Park, Sandal wood forest, Muniyara, Chinar Wildlife Sanctuary. Night stay at Munnar.

Holidays to Munnar and Thekkady: 3rd Day
After breakfast, travel to Thekkady. Check in at the resort. Move for Sightseeing of wildlife sanctuary and enjoy boating in Periyar.  Evening, view traditional Kathakali (optional). Retreat to resort.
