KASHMIR TOUR ITINERARY
Day 01: Arrive in Jammu & Drive to Katra (Distance 55kms & 2hrs. journey)
On arrival at Jammu Airport or Railway Station, you will be met by our representative/driver and transferred to hotel in Katra.
Day 02: Trek to Vaishno devi
Proceed to Banganga from where you will trek to the Vaishno devi temple on our own. After completing the trek return to hotel for overnight stay in Katra.
Day 03: Drive from Katra to Patnitop (Distance 70kms & 3hrs journey)
Drive from Katra to Patnitop, a hillstation known for its many adventure sports. Its scintillating surroundings and the panoramic view of the Himalayas from this place will never fail to impress your heart. Overnight stay at Patnitop.
Day 04: Drive from Patnitop to Pahalgam (Distance 180kms & 4-5hrs. journey)
After early morning breakfast drive to Pahalgam, the Valley of Shepherds. Afternoon free for individual activities
Pahalgam is a popular tourist destination and a world famous hill station with breath-taking views. Situated at a height of 7200ft above sea level, it is surrounded with fragrant pine forest that includes a golf course.
Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Optional Activities: Enjoy a horse ride to Baisaran - an exciting place where a stream flows through the meadows and pine trees.
Day 05: Sightseeing in Pahalgam
Places to visit or see in Pahalgam (Kashmir): After breakfast, proceed for a tour of Pahalgam attractions; an excursion to Chandanwadi/Chandanwari (a tranquil picnic spot), Betaab Valley (famous for many film shootings) & Aru (a resort village from where you can have a glimpse of Kolohoi Peak, 5370mts.). This excursion is subject to road, weather conditions and military permission.

Day 06: Drive from Pahalgam to Gulmarg (Distance 150kms & 4-5hrs journey)
This morning go on picturesque drive to Gulmarg.
Gulmarg (Meadow of flowers) - Identified as a tourist destination by the British in the 19th century; it is now one of the most famous tourist spots of Kashmir. Situated at an altitude of 2,730 meters above sea level it has the world’s highest 18 holes green golf course, as well as delightful ski slopes

Optional Activities: Enjoy a Gondola ride to Kungdoor (Phase I)/ Apharwat peak (Phase II) and enjoy the views of Nanga Parbat
Day 07: Drive from Gulmarg to Srinagar (Distance 55kms & 2hrs journey)
Enroute drive through the Saffron fields of Pampora and observe the beautiful countryside. Also visit Awantipura Ruins (an 1100yrs old temple built in the 09th century by King Avantivarman and dedicated to lord Vishu). Continue your drive to Srinagar through the pine forests and Lidder River.
On arrival at Srinagar, proceed for sightseeing Tourist attractions in Srinagar: Mughal Gardens, Shankaracharya Temple (located at a height of 1000ft above the plain overlooking the city of Srinagar, and dates back to 200BC), evening enjoy a romantic Shikara ride on the quaint & pleasing Dal Lake. Overnight stay at Dal Lake houseboats or hotel in Srinagar.
Day 08: Full day tour/excursion to Sonmarg (Distance 86kms one way & 3hrs. journey)
Today go on a full day tour to Sonmarg (meaning Meadow of Gold).
Sonamarg lies among marvelous glaciers, small plateaus, snowfields and islets. The entire region has some of the highest mountain ranges of the world. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude Himalayas.
Late afternoon drive back to Srinagar and overnight stay in Srinagar
Optional Activities: Enjoy a horse/pony ride up to Thajiwas glacier and sledge riding on the snow.
Day 09: Departure from Srinagar
Your trip to Vaishnodevi & Kashmir concludes with a morning transfer to the Srinagar International Airport.
