Day 01: Arrive in Delhi
On arrival at New Delhi Airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Delhi for check-in.
DELHI: The capital city of India, and said to be one of the oldest existing cities in the world consists of two parts - NEW DELHI, the city created in 1911 as the imperial capital of India by the British and the OLD DELHI, the Muslim capital of India between the 17th and 19th centuries.

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing.
Your travel to North India begins with a full day tour in Delhi accompanied with a local tour guide. Start by visiting the Jama Masjid; Enjoy a ride of cycle rickshaw in Delhi through the crowded bazaar and shopping streets of Chandni Chowk; Visit Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. Post lunch; explore New Delhi, India Gate & Rajpath; Rashtrapati Bhawan - the President's House; Humayun’s Tomb; Qutab Minar and the Bahai Temple.

Day 03: Drive Delhi to Jaipur (270kms & 5.5 hrs journey).
Distance between Delhi to Jaipur (270kms/5.5hrs). On arrival check-in to your hotel in Jaipur
Evening, walk to the nearby market or bazaars of the old city.

Day 04: Sightseeing in Jaipur
Full day sightseeing accompanied by an Indian tour guide in Jaipur
THE PINK CITY: There are three parts to Jaipur; Amer (the old city which was the previous capital of the Kachwahas, clans of Rajputs). Jaipur (the walled city built in the 18th century) and the new city (which has grown outside the walled city).
Places to visit in Jaipur: Start by visiting Amber/Amer Fort; take a ride to its lofty heights on a jeep or a decked up elephant. Later visit the City Palace Jaipur, Palace of Winds (or Hawa Mahal), Jantar Mantar (Maharaja Jai Singh’s astronomy park).

Day 05: Drive from Jaipur to Agra (250kms & 5hrs journey).
Agra Jaipur distance is (250kms /5hrs). En-route visit, Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted capital of Emperor Akbar; the city was abandoned as the capital in 16th century due to scarcity of water. On arrival, check-in to your hotel in Agra.
AGRA: The former capital of ‘Hindustan’ was transformed from a village to a city befitting the glory of mighty Mughals by two great emperors: AKBAR & SHAH JAHAN. Places to visit in Agra are the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri (all of which are UNESCO World Heritage sites).

Day06: Agra sightseeing and Train to Jhansi (3 hours journey). Drive Jhansi to Orchha (20kms & 0.5hrs journey)
Start with a sunrise Taj Mahal visit along an expert Indian tour guide. The monument, one of the Seven Wonders of the World was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in honor of his love. Later visit the Agra Fort - an architectural wonder in itself.
Afternoon board train Agra to Jhansi. Transfer by road Jhansi to Orcha (20kms & 0.5hrs journey).
Optional: Agra to Orchha distance is (250kms). Journey by road will take 5hrs.

Day07: Drive Orchha to Khajuraho (170kms & 4 hours journey)
Morning take a guided tour of Orchha temple & forts.
Orchha (or Urchha, a town in the state of Madhya Pradesh) means ‘Hidden’. This place is true to its name. Everything in this small historic town is hidden. The fort reveals palaces with multiple courtyards. There are some who may want to rush through this town. Wait; there is much to be explored.
Orchha Tour: Visit Jehangir Mahal - largest of the palaces, the Chaturbhuj Temple & Royal Chattris by the Betwa River. Afternoon drive from Orchha to Khajuraho (170kms & 4 hours journey)
At evening, enjoy a sound and light show at the main temple complex in Khajuraho.

Day08: Tour of Khajuraho Temples
Khajuraho: A UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Khajuraho temple sculptures are a great form of art; it is not truly erotic as their reputation would lead you to believe. To understand the significance of these temples it is advisable to have a guided tour. The temples here are different from the other temples that we see in India.
Visit the Western & Eastern group of temples with a local guide to see the brilliant craftsmanship of the Khajuraho sculptures.

Day09: Flight Khajuraho to Varanasi.
Afternoon catch a flight to Varanasi; on arrival, check-in to your hotel in Varanasi
Varanasi: Some might say there is nothing beautiful about Varanasi; no exotic places or beautiful monuments or temples or the natural beauty of a river. It’s true, because there is nothing really beautiful or sparkling clean in Varanasi. It is an old ancient city, weather-beaten,layer upon layer of old things.
So why go to Varanasi? Because, it is the heart of Hindu India; because it offers the opportunity to know the philosophical understanding of a country, its ancient culture and tradition, its people and what has kept this giant ticker box (a billion+ people) alive for thousands of years. A visit to this land in India is a must if you are in North India.
Evening visit the main Ghatin Varanasi to experience the daily ‘Aarti’ ritual, a beautiful sight for visitors and a sacred ceremony for Hindus, along with a Varanasi tour guide who will help you understand this ritual.

Day 10: Early morning Boat Ride & Tour of Varanasi.
Experience an early morning boat ride on River Ganges. After breakfast, take a guided tour through the streets of Varanasi visiting sacred temples & shrines, the holy pond near Assi Ghat and the historic bathing site called ‘Dasashwamedh’. Afternoon visit the town of Sarnath; a place famous for Buddha’s first sermon.

Day 11: Flight Varanasi to Delhi.
Morning at leisure; Afternoon board a flight from Varanasi to Delhi. On arrival, check-in to your hotel in Delhi.
