Rajasthan Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Delhi
On arrival at New Delhi Airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Delhi for check-in.
DELHI: The capital city of India, and said to be one of the oldest existing cities in the world consists of two parts - NEW DELHI, the city created in 1911 as the imperial capital of India by the British and the OLD DELHI, the Muslim capital of India between the 17th and 19th centuries.
Day 02:Board train from Delhi to Jaipur (4.5hrs journey)
Early morning pick up from hotel will be arranged to be transferred to New Delhi Railway Station. Board the Delhi Jaipur express train (Delhi Ajmer Shatabdi Timings: DEP: 0605 ARR: 1030). On arrival, you will be picked up from Jaipur Junction Railway Station and transferred for check-in to your hotel in Jaipur.
THE PINK CITY: There are three parts to Jaipur; Amer (the old city which was the previous capital of the Kachwahas, clans of Rajputs). Jaipur (the walled city built in the 18th century) and the new city (which has grown outside the walled city).
Late evening, enjoy an optional tour to Chokhi Dhani, an ethnic village resort. The mud and thatch dwellings in the resort give you a feel of ethnic environment; you also can experience the Rajasthani Village Culture, Rajasthani Cuisine and folk music & dance of Rajasthan. Enjoy your dinner at the ethnic multi-cuisine restaurant.
Day 03: Sightseeing in Jaipur
Full day tour in Jaipur with an expert tourist guide
Places to visit in Jaipur: Start by visiting Amber/Amer Fort; take a ride to its lofty heights on a jeep or a decked up elephant. Later visit the City Palace Jaipur, Palace of Winds (or Hawa Mahal), Jantar Mantar (Maharaja Jai Singh’s astronomy park).
Day 04: Jaipur Bazaar Walk
Go on a short Bazaar walk in Jaipur City this morning accompanied with a tour guide. The walk takes you through the little known streets of the walled city; and what you experience is an interesting look at the daily life of these kirana stores selling spices, bangles, sweets and spicy delicacies in the colorful market. This tour will be a mix of walking and rickshaw ride made flexible to suit you pace.

Day 05: Drive Jaipur to Nawalgarh (Distance 160kms & 3 hours journey)
Drive Jaipur to Nawalgarh to reach an Eco-Lodge where your friendly French & English speaking hosts await to welcome you. Meet other travelers staying at the hotel and share stories & experiences as you join for a communal dinner/tea all together
Day 06: Nawalgarh Eco-lodge experience
Take part in a workshop to learn how to make bangles, do wood-carving and learn about the tie & die process from local artisan here. Later enjoy a slow camel cart ride to the nearby village. Adding Nawalgarh to your itinerary will not mean you have major tourist destinations to be covered, as this place is not much touristic. It’s is the unique experiences you’ll have in an eco-friendly manner during your stay at this resort that makes this trip memorable.
Day 07: Drive Nawalgarh to Khimsar (Distance 280kms & 6hrs. journey)
Early morning drive to Khimsar and check-in to your desert camp - Khimsar Sand Dunes village or the Khimsar Fort. The drive from the Fort to Dunes Village is adventurous with the first leg - 7kms covered by a jeep safari and the last leg of journey covered by riding a camel. Enjoy the experience of watching sunset from top of the dunes that is breathtaking.
Day 08: Khimsar Rajasthan
Your day’s excursion is planned to a Handicraft Institute that is involved in social upliftment of rural women. Spend time watching the handicrafts being handmade and interact with the women employed to know more about their lives. Later visit Nagaur Fort, one of the largest forts in Rajasthan built in 10th century beautifully restored to have won the UNESCO International Award.
Day 09: Drive Khimsar to Khejarla (Distance 120kms. & 3hrs. Journey)
Drive 3 hours to Khejarla this morning. On arrival, check-in to a 400 year old heritage fort in a tiny village, converted as hotel. Roam around this place to enjoy the panoramic views from the hotel which is positioned on top of a rocky outcrop.
Late evening take a walk through the village to a 600 year old temple devoted to the Goddess of War.
Day 10: Explore Khejarla
Laze around this place and enjoy some spa treatment. Go on a jeep safari to the villages around; en-route watch the desert wildlife in abundance - Deers, Black bucks, Blue bulls and migratory birds. Also visit the old markets of Pipar town to see some craftsmen at work.
Evening enjoy a magical show at the courtyard just before you relish the local cuisine at dinner.
Day 11: Drive Khejarla to Rohetgarh (Distance 100kms. & 2.5hrs journey)
Drive to Rohet this morning and en-route visit the Mehrangarh Fort, India’s most impressive fort in Jodhpur that stands stall with an intimidating presence. Brace yourself for the uphill climb to experience great views of the ‘Blue City’ from above. Take a walk to the village just outside the heritage hotel to observe the happenings of a village life in India.
Day 12: Explore Rohet - Village in India.
This morning visit the Bishnois on a Bishnoi Village Safari. Guardians and protectors of the environment for over 500 years; they have been responsible in the survival of the rare Black Buck antelope (a protected species today). Observe how the tribe shares a beautiful relationship with the environment and the mammals around them. Later during the day, enjoy horse-riding in India with the prized Marwari breed of horses on a country-side ride; a memorable experience if you try it.
Day 13: Drive Rohet to Narlai (Distance 100kms & 2hrs. Journey)
Drive on an off-beaten track to Narlai this morning, a small village that lies between Jodhpur and Udaipur. On arrival, check-in to a 17-century fortress hotel that was once a hunting lodge. Enjoy the old world ambiance and Rajasthan Royalty. Make a trip to the nearby reservoir watching the birds at dusk.
Day 14: Drive Narlai to Udaipur (Distance 150kms & 3 hours journey)
After breakfast, drive from Narlai to Udaipur. On arrival, check-in to your hotel in Udaipur
Udaipur: Most Romantic City of India, City of Lakes, and Venice of the East are some of the synonyms used to describe ‘Udaipur’. Situated in the hilly range of Aravallis, it is in complete contrast to its counterparts of Marwar, in the north-west.

Day 15: Flight Udaipur to New Delhi
